Starting with a big disclaimer, black isn’t my colour. I like it on others but just not on me… I’m all over warm tones, browns, burgundies and navy. But by getting a classic black bag last year, it was about time I bought black shoes and so on! I still wanted to incorporate it in my wardrobe so I decided to find a way to compliment it with camel, a shade I really love! This cape has an interesting patchwork, as it combines grey and black as well! It’s a woolen material, totally warm for the season and it can be worn as a scarf or a cape, as I usually do.
Paired with leather looking jeans, oxford shoes and a leather/deer skin like bag, this outfit has easily become my go-to recently! Because of its different shades, textures and materials, it’s like you made an effort to create a classic outfit with a twist!
What's your favourite way to amp up an all-black outfit?
