lip care

Embrace yourself, fall is coming! Cold weather is right around the corner or at least I hope so, and this is the season that moisturisers for face and body are getting more and more important. As for lips, a good lip balm is needed, not only for keeping them plump and kissable, but also for having the best base before applying any lipstick. The first step is always a gentle exfoliator and if you consider this too much, just try the Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub and you can thank me later! The taste is divine and sweet, it doesn't remind me of popcorn that much, but -who cares!- it's perfect! The best part? Licking off the scrub! Yes, of course you can use a piece of cloth or a towel, but are you really gonna miss this part? After having your lips smooth and soft, you can follow up with any lip balm. My favourite for an instant moisturising boost is the Vaseline Lip Therapy Aloe Vera, which smells like bubblegum to me, it's lightweight and non-sticky. For a night treatment, I like to use the Nivea Vanilla and Macademia or Raspberry Rose Lip Butter, because they are thick, so they will work perfectly while you're sleeping. I don't have enough words for their scents, if you have already tried them, then I'm sure you agree with me! You can also use them for an everyday look, as nudes, natural or pink!
