Lately, my skin was feeling a little dehydrated, mainly because of not drinking enough water, and I realised that it needed an extra moisturising boost. I've never tried essential oils on my skin before, so I thought it was the perfect time to do so! Almost a week ago, I visited a Kiehl's counter and took home a 2ml sample of Midnight Recovery Concentrate. It's supposed to be an elixir that works all night to replenish the skin with moisture and leaves a younger-looking skin by morning. It contains Evening Primrose Oil, Lavender Essential Oil and Squalane. As for the application, you should use 2-3 drops, by gently pressing fingertips to cheeks, forehead and chin and it can be worn alone or under moisturizer. I'm using the sample for more than a week and there is still product in it. Even though my skin has changed in a good way and it's more hydrated now, I haven't seen a major difference, as promised. So, I won't purchase the full size any time soon, but instead I'm thinking to find a similar alternative of essential oils in the pharmacy and report back!
